About Krystal
Krystal Manitius is a partner at Barrison & Manitius practicing criminal defence in Oshawa. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa in 2006 and earned her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2009, where she volunteered and later led divisions at the school's legal aid clinic. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2010 after articling with criminal law sole practitioners in Toronto, and has since built a practice spanning trial litigation, appeals, and quasi-criminal law, with particular focus on Charter rights, firearms cases, and drug offences. She joined Barrison Law in 2022, became a partner in 2023, and a named partner in 2025. She has also served on the Community Living board and volunteers with the Girl Guides of Canada.
