About Kristy
Kristy Montan is based in Kimberley, BC, serving the Kootenay region, and practises all areas of family law, including drafting agreements and court representation in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Kristy is a certified Co-Parenting Specialist and encourages collaborative and negotiated resolutions where possible. Born in the Fraser Valley, Kristy worked for seven years in Vancouver as a legal assistant and paralegal in civil litigation before earning a JD from the University of Alberta in 2023 and being admitted to the BC Bar in May 2024.
