About Keenan
Keenan MacLeod is an associate at Beresh Law who serves clients charged with criminal and quasi-criminal matters. Raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he attended Saint Mary's University, receiving his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology and a minor in Criminology in 2017, and was named to the Dean's List for research on the fallibility of eyewitness testimony. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law in 2022, then joined Beresh Law in June 2022, completing his articles under Brian A. Beresh, K.C. on serious criminal matters including sexual assault, drug trafficking, arson, fraud, and murder. He has also worked as a legal research assistant on Canadian firearm laws and evidence exclusion under the Charter, and assisted in updating chapters of the McWilliam's Canadian Criminal Evidence text. He's fluent in French and English.
