About Kaysi

Kaysi Fagan practises criminal defence, based in Calgary with a practice that extends across Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and the Northwest Territories, and has appeared as co-counsel before the Supreme Court of Canada. She began her career at INTERPOL headquarters in Lyon, France, before becoming the first articling student trained under Patrick C. Fagan, Q.C. She defends drug prosecutions and all charges under the Criminal Code, including impaired driving, theft, domestic assault, firearms offences, homicide, conspiracy, sexual crimes, and fraud, and has been involved in high-profile cases including the largest heroin importation seizure in Alberta's history. She teaches Advanced Criminal Law at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law and holds three law degrees: an LLM from New York University, an LLM from the National University of Singapore, and a JD from the University of Western Ontario, along with a BA (Honors) from Acadia University. She has been called to the bar in both Alberta and British Columbia and is conversational in French and Spanish.
