About Sanjay
Sanjay Kutty joined Linmac LLP as a partner after close to 15 years working in-house for two of Canada's largest publicly traded companies, and now advises high-net-worth individuals, regulated health professionals, and family businesses on corporate and tax reorganizations, financing and security arrangements, and buy-sell transactions. His practice covers the full business lifecycle, from incorporation and growth through acquisitions, commercial real estate, commercial leasing, and succession planning into retirement. He has particular experience with regulated health professionals, structuring professional corporations and advising healthcare and clinic-based businesses on transactions and leasing matters, and acts for both landlords and tenants on commercial lease negotiation, drafting, and renewals. His matters have included advising Uptown Health Management on the sale of its medical clinics to WELL Health Technologies, structuring a roughly $50 million health clinic consolidation, and acting for a shareholder group on the approximately $30 million sale of an equine veterinary practice to a European practice aggregator. He earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998 and a B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1995, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2000.
