About Katherine

Katherine Benson practises labour law, human rights, and criminal defence at Allevato Quail & Associates, with a particular interest in cases involving constitutional rights and protest-related arrests. Katherine Benson previously worked with the BC Civil Liberties Association and a legal aid clinic, and clerked for five justices of the BC Supreme Court. Katherine Benson holds a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from the University of Ottawa, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Ontario.
