About Jim
Jim Quail founded Allevato Quail in 2014 and continues to practise as Senior Counsel. Jim Quail's career has centred on regulatory and labour law, including terms as general counsel at the Legal Services Society of BC, executive director of the BC Public Interest Advocacy Centre, and legal director roles with several unions. Jim Quail was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1980 and has represented communities, low-income consumers, and workers before the BC Utilities Commission and the CRTC. Jim Quail is an honorary member of CUPE Local 15 and an honorary life member of the BC Freedom of Information and Privacy Association.
