About Haidah

Haidah Amirzadeh has more than 20 years of legal experience spanning criminal law, family law, immigration and refugee law, judicial reviews, appeals, inadmissibility matters, and other contested proceedings. She has represented clients before the Federal Court, Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench, the Immigration and Refugee Board, and the Immigration Appeal Division. From 2007 to 2020 she taught Immigration and Refugee Law at the University of Saskatchewan across 17 course offerings. At Amirzadeh Law she practises family law, immigration litigation, and family sponsorship, and has previously served as Past President of the Saskatoon Open Door Society, past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Citizenship & Immigration (SK South) Section, and a past director of CLASSIC (Community Legal Assistance Services of Saskatoon Inner City). She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
