About David
David Wright started Wright Law Office in 1995 and was called to the Bar in Alberta in 1990 and in British Columbia in 1994. He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Victoria in 1985, during which he studied British Politics at the University of Warwick in England, and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Law and Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie University in 1989. He has completed certification courses in mediation, interest-based negotiation and collaborative law. David practices in family law, wills and estates, and real estate, favouring negotiated resolutions and mediation or arbitration where possible, while keeping clients informed about the cost-benefit of litigation. He has appeared regularly before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, as well as administrative tribunals and the Court of Appeal of Alberta.
