About Kate
Kate Anderson is a family lawyer practising in Brockville, Ontario, with a focus on family law and child advocacy in child protection matters. A Brockville native, she graduated from Brockville Collegiate Institute and Mount Allison University with first-class honours in Political Science, then completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Victoria, including exchange programs at the University of Limerick in Ireland and the University of Western Ontario. She articled with Cohen-Highley in London, Ontario, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in September 2002. She practised family law with Wilson/Evely before becoming full-time counsel for Family and Children's Services in 2004, handling child protection cases for nine years. In 2013, she opened her own legal practice in downtown Brockville, where she lives with her husband and three children.
