About J.
J. Douglas Grenkie holds the Law Society Medal, awarded by the Law Society of Ontario in 2009. He earned a B.A. from the University of Waterloo in 1965 and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1968, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1970. His general practice covers family, commercial, municipal, estate, and real estate law. He has served as an Assistant Crown Attorney and Federal Prosecutor at the Morrisburg Provincial Court and has appeared before tribunals including the Workers Safety Insurance Board, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Ontario Municipal Board. He was appointed Queen's Counsel (now King's Counsel) in 1980 and has held leadership roles with the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Leeds-Grenville Law Association.
