About Karine

Karine Toupin has more than 20 years of experience in the legal field, with a versatile practice spanning corporate and commercial law, privacy and intellectual property, contract law, access to information, financial services law, health law and education law. Toupin holds certifications in corporate governance and ESG factors and supports clients with governance implementation and legal processes. Toupin acts as corporate secretary or general secretary for several organizations and sits on multiple boards, including that of Desjardins Financial Security Inc. Before joining Delegatus, Toupin worked as in-house counsel for large organizations, advising senior management and business line managers, and previously served as secretary general for a public organization involved in Quebec's education governance reform. Toupin holds an MBA and an LL.B. from Université Laval.
