About Kara

Kara is a partner at Myers LLP practising in corporate law, commercial and residential real estate, and wills and estates. Originally from Reykjavik, Manitoba, she moved to Winnipeg to study law at the University of Manitoba and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2010. Before joining Myers LLP in September 2022, she was a partner at Duboff Edwards Schachter. Kara has served as past chair of the City of Winnipeg's Vehicle for Hire Appeal Board and Board of Adjustment. In her spare time, she enjoys researching and planning trips abroad.
