Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionJustine Covey joined Renno & Vathilakis in November 2019 and focuses primarily on family law, with additional experience in civil and commercial litigation. She appears regularly before all levels of Quebec courts, including the Quebec Court of Appeal, and has also appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada. She earned her LL.L. (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa, completing her final semester at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium, and holds a Juris Doctor from the Université de Montréal. She was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2017 and, the same year, passed the Law Society of Ontario's licensing examinations. Since 2020 she has served as a factum judge for the Laskin Moot, evaluating the written arguments of law students from across Canada. She is a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit familial du Québec and the Young Bar Association of Montreal.
