Family LawGabrielle Azran is the founding partner of Azran Avocats in Montreal. She earned a law degree from Université Laval in Quebec City in 1989 and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1992. She began her career at the Montreal firm Bélanger Sauvé before opening her own practice, which was named a top three civil litigation firm in Montreal by Three Best Rated in 2023. Gabrielle Azran practises primarily in civil litigation, with a focus on construction law, including latent defects, contractual and commercial disputes, hypothecs and banking law. She is also known for her family law practice, including divorce, child custody, support, and division of family property, and has represented prominent individuals as well as governmental entities, embassies and consulates before the Superior Court and Court of Appeal of Quebec. She does not practise criminal law. She is an accredited mediator and has authored articles on construction law.
