About Josephine

Josephine Wong received her undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, graduating with several national and international academic awards. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2012 and has represented clients in family law matters at all levels of court in British Columbia, including multi-party disputes, cross-border assets, and complex marriage and separation agreements. She chairs the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Section in Vancouver, sits on the editorial board of a CLEBC publication on financial issues in family law, and is a certified Family Law Mediator accredited by the Law Society of British Columbia. Before joining Hayward Sheppard she worked in international humanitarian law, including at the United Nations Development Programme and the International Criminal Court.
