About Joseph

Joseph Daoura is a member of the Barreau du Québec in private practice. He graduated in French law and holds a postgraduate diploma in private law. His multidisciplinary practice in Canada centres on negotiating and drafting contracts and pleading civil, commercial and corporate matters before provincial civil and administrative courts as well as federal courts, and he has argued immigration and citizenship cases before the Federal Court of Canada. He is recognized by the Barreau du Québec as an arbitrator in civil and commercial matters. Alongside his legal career, he served as a municipal councillor for the Town of Mount Royal from 2009 to 2021, contributing to resolutions on urban planning, permits and tendering. He has worked internationally as a legal advisor on energy contracts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and has been involved in founding several non-profit charitable organizations.
