About Jonathan

Jonathan Fine has spent a long career practicing condo law, acting for condominium corporations, unit owners, developers and mortgagees, and has also served as a condo unit owner and director himself. He treats litigation as a last resort, preferring cost-efficient solutions where possible. He helped establish the Canadian Condominium Institute as one of its four founders, later serving as its president and a board director in its early years, and was subsequently named a Fellow of the CCI in recognition of his contributions. He has written on condo law topics, hosted conferences and a TV talk show on the subject called Condo Call-In, and taught in the Law Society's Bar Admission Course. He was only the second Canadian lawyer admitted to the College of Community Association Lawyers.
