About Jonathan

Jonathan Averback is an associate lawyer at Adrian & Co. who practises in wills and estates, corporate and commercial law, and real estate. He has assisted clients with estate planning and administration, drafting commercial and employment agreements, launching an offering memorandum, buying and selling businesses, and real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing. He earned his LL.B. (Honours) from the University of Birmingham in 2018 and a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation in 2019, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2020. He holds a B.A. in economics and business administration from Simon Fraser University. Before joining Adrian & Co., Averback practised as a general solicitor at a full-service firm in Richmond, BC. While at law school he served as a student representative and sat on a joint student-faculty liaison board, and volunteered with the Environmental Law Matters pro-bono group advising on environmental law in the West Midlands region of England.
