About Joe

Martini is Carscallen LLP's first externally appointed Chief Executive Officer, a role reflecting the firm's move to combine its independent, entrepreneurial history with more structured executive leadership. He began his career as a corporate-commercial lawyer, later launched a tax practice within a Big 4 accounting firm, and has since held executive, general counsel, and board roles across a range of small and mid-sized companies, including an energy technology accelerator and fund. As CEO he works with the firm's partners to modernize operations and expand capacity in IT, HR, marketing, and finance. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1997.
