About Howard
Howard M. Lowenstein was called to the bar in 1977 after graduating from the University of Manitoba's law school in 1976. He practiced in Winnipeg before relocating to Calgary in 1979, where he joined William Fric in 1982 to found what became Fric, Lowenstein & Co. His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate and mortgages, and he represents major home builders and condominium developers, in addition to handling foreclosures, estates, corporate transactions, debt collection, personal injury claims, and civil litigation. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and has chaired its Alberta Law Conference Real Estate Panel, and he participates in the foreclosure, real property, and wills subsections. He has served as past president of Beth Tzedec Congregation, the University of Calgary Swim Club, and Swim Alberta's Southern Region, and volunteers as a referee for Swimming Canada and Special Olympics.
