About Joanna

Joanna Rosengarten practices environmental law at Goodmans, working on matters that include evaluating environmental legal risk in complex corporate transactions and advising on environmental assessment, permitting, and liability in large project development. Manufacturing, chemical, mining, infrastructure, brownfield redevelopment, clean-tech, and energy projects are significant areas of her practice. She has advised developers, acquirers, and investors in connection with renewable, nuclear, and conventional energy assets and transmission facilities, and regularly advises clients on compliance with environmental legislation, defending environmental prosecutions and government orders, and remediating contaminated sites. Joanna also practices in climate change, ESG, and energy law, advising clients on greenhouse gas reporting obligations, carbon offset credits, and net-zero strategies, along with broader ESG due diligence matters.
