About Joanna

Joanna Elliott is a solicitor who advises individuals, families, and business owners on wills and estates and business law matters. Her wills and estates practice includes preparing wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements, and assisting with probate, inheritance disputes, and estate-related applications. In business law, she advises on incorporations, shareholder agreements, contract negotiations, and succession planning, and helps restore dissolved companies. Elliott holds a BBA and a law degree from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK, and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2022. She is fluent in English and Polish and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. While studying law in the UK, she volunteered for three years with Norfolk Community Law Services and later continued similar work with the UBC Law Students' Legal Advice Program.
