She handles separation, divorce and the division of family property, and uses mediation and alternative dispute resolution to help clients reach early resolutions. Tigert also represents parents and respondents in child protection applications and accepts Legal Aid certificates for child protection matters in Goderich, Sarnia, Stratford and Walkerton. She has served as vice president of the Victoria Haliburton Law Association since 2022 and belongs to the Huron County Law Association, the Bruce County Law Association and the Advocates' Society.
