About Nicholas
Nicholas Van Allen practices municipal law, criminal prosecution, civil litigation and estate litigation. He studied law at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law on a scholarship before returning to southwestern Ontario, and before law school earned a PhD in Canadian history from the University of Guelph focused on rural Ontario, a Master's from McMaster University, and a B.A. from Huron University College at the University of Western Ontario. Van Allen has written for agricultural periodicals since 2014 on legislative issues affecting farming, government agricultural policy and environmental matters.
