About Jing

Jing Ou was called to the Quebec Bar in 2020 and is also a member of the Ontario Bar, practising as a civil and commercial arbitrator in Quebec. She practises civil litigation, professional and civil liability, construction law and insurance law, and has represented international clients in proceedings involving the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, appearing before all Quebec courts up to the Supreme Court of Canada. She has substantial experience in negotiation and settlement conferences. Ou holds a Master of Laws from McGill University (2012-2014) and completed a law equivalency program at the Université de Montréal (2016-2018), basic training in civil and commercial arbitration through the Quebec Bar (2021), and an accelerated path to membership with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2022). She is fluent in French, English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
