About Denis

Denis Luc Blouin joined Dunton Rainville in 2019. Since 1978, Blouin has practised in the labour and employment law sector, handling matters primarily on behalf of employers in the public, parapublic, and private sectors, in multicultural contexts. He represents clients before all courts and administrative tribunals with jurisdiction over labour law, in both civil and penal matters. He has practised at large firms, mainly in the Eastern Townships, and acts as lead spokesperson in the negotiation and conclusion of collective agreements across the public, parapublic, and private sectors. Blouin is a specialist in occupational health and safety legislation, covering both the social aspects and the financing of related plans, as well as preventive and corrective interventions concerning psychological harassment. He represents and advises employers in grievance and dispute arbitration and advises clients on the financial aspects of labour relations, the implementation of management processes and methods, and the reengineering of organizational structures. He develops and validates prevention programs for numerous service and manufacturing companies, and represents and advises companies on senior and intermediate executive contracts and terminations across all sectors. His courtroom experience also allows him to assist with civil and commercial litigation files.
