About Jessette

Jessette Apao is a partner at Edmonton Law Office practising in wills and estates, guardianship and trusteeship, adoption, real estate, business law, civil litigation, and family law, with a particular focus on estate planning and administration. Before joining the firm, she worked in the Contracts Division at Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (GASCO) and later moved into the financial sector after immigrating to Canada with her family. She graduated Cum Laude, earning her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with academic distinction from Mindanao State University in the Philippines, and lectured at the university's College of Arts and Social Sciences while in law school. Apao is a member of the Filipino Canadian Lawyers Network and the Filipino Association of Legal Professionals, and has volunteered at legal aid clinics and during elections in the Philippines. She is fluent in English, Tagalog, and Visayan, and has a good grasp of French.
