About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Boro has practiced criminal law for more than 45 years and has argued cases before every level of court in Quebec and Ontario, including numerous appeals before the Quebec Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. In 2008, the Association des avocats de la défense de Montréal (AADM) awarded him the Robert-Sacchitelle Prize for Excellence in Litigation. Jeffrey Boro chaired the Comité de révision de l'aide juridique and is currently president of the Association d'entraide des avocats de Montréal; he has also served as president of the Canadian Jewish Congress's Quebec region and as vice-president of its national organization. He has periodically lectured in criminal law at McGill University. He holds an LL.L. from the Université de Montréal (1969) and a B.A. from Sir George Williams University (1966), and was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1970.
