About Ion

Ion Ciobanu practises corporate and construction law along with immigration, family, general civil and administrative law. Ciobanu earned a law degree from the Université de Montréal in 2017 and was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2018, after earlier completing a master's degree in civil law in Moldova. Before practising law, Ciobanu worked as a general contractor in Quebec's construction industry, experience that now informs a corporate and construction law practice. Ciobanu has appeared before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and the Federal Court of Canada, and practises in French, English, Romanian and Russian.
