About Jeff
Jeff Bright is a corporate and commercial lawyer who has worked closely with companies in the energy and technology sectors. He regularly advises entrepreneurial and creative businesses on corporate governance, financing, general commercial matters, intellectual property, human resources, energy contracts, partnership agreements, shareholder issues, licensing, supply and distribution agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. He previously held senior legal roles with major agricultural product retail suppliers, where he guided internal corporate restructuring and helped negotiate and draft asset and share transactions. Earlier in his career he worked at MLT Aikins LLP, Miller Thomson LLP, Evolution Engineering Inc., Agrium Inc. and Gowling Lafleur LLP. He earned degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and Alberta University of the Arts before completing his J.D. at the University of Calgary in 2002.
