About Jean-Maxim

Jean-Maxim LeBrun has developed expertise in franchise law and frequently advises franchisees in the restaurant and retail sectors. LeBrun practises across several areas of commercial law, moving between litigation, transactional work, and intellectual property. This varied practice allows LeBrun to maintain a broad view of a matter while quickly grasping both its legal and commercial dimensions. On the transactional side, LeBrun favours a tailored approach and practical solutions suited to a client base made up mainly of small and medium-sized businesses. In litigation matters, LeBrun takes a firm and measured approach that balances the legal and economic interests of clients, whether through a negotiated settlement or trial preparation. LeBrun was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2009.
