David Shelly

About David

David Shelly is counsel at SKS Law LLP, bringing over 40 years of experience representing clients in Eastern Ontario. His practice covers municipal and land use planning, estate and succession planning, and real estate transactions. He holds the Law Society of Ontario's Certified Specialist designation in municipal law for local government and land use planning, and has appeared before the Ontario Land Tribunal. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 1974, and earned his LLB from the University of Ottawa in 1972 and a BA from Loyola College in 1966. He frequently speaks at conferences on municipal risk management and advises other law firms on municipal issues.
