About Jason
Jason G. Smith began his career at a leading Vancouver insurance defence firm before moving to one of Canada's top plaintiff-side firms, where he led the property insurance practice. At Pythe Navis, he represents homeowners and business owners exclusively in property insurance disputes, drawing on experience acting both for and against insurers. He has appeared at every level of court in British Columbia, including the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal, and is a guest lecturer for the insurance law course at UBC's law school and at BCIT's General Insurance and Risk Management program. He earned his law degree from Dalhousie University and a bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia.
