About Jas
Jas Mangat is a criminal defence lawyer in Vancouver with experience across the full range of criminal, regulatory, and traffic offences, including murder, assault, sexual assault, drug and weapons offences, and impaired driving. He also handles Motor Vehicle Act matters such as Immediate Roadside Prohibitions and Administrative Driving Prohibitions, traffic ticket defence, and claims under the Civil Forfeiture Act. He has represented clients at every level of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal, as well as at the Supreme Court of Canada. He holds a BA in criminology from Simon Fraser University, an LLB (Hons) and LLM from the University of London, and postgraduate qualifications in sports law and international business law, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society.
