About David
David Matlow serves as counsel in a business law group at Goodmans. His transaction-based practice covers corporate and securities law, with emphasis on private equity fund formation, secondary transactions, and sports matters. He also assists companies and sports organizations with governance matters, and helps family-owned businesses with inter-generational shareholder arrangements. David is recommended by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Chambers Canada, and Best Lawyers in Canada across corporate finance, M&A, and private equity. He is the immediate past chair of the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto and chair of the Ontario Jewish Archives. David produced a documentary titled 'My Herzl' and has assembled what is described as the world's largest collection of Theodor Herzl memorabilia, which he has exhibited and spoken about in Canada, the United States, and Israel.
