About Janice

Janice Sued Agresti is a Member at Cozen O'Connor's New York office, where she represents employers in high-stakes employment litigation, including trade secrets and employee mobility disputes, discrimination claims based on race, sex, age and national origin, and whistleblower and retaliation cases. She also counsels clients on compliance with federal, state and local employment law, drafts non-competes and restrictive covenants, advises on employment issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, conducts workplace investigations, and defends ADA Title III claims. Before joining the firm, she was an associate at an Am Law 50 firm in New York and New Jersey, completed a secondment with a Fortune 250 financial services company, and third-chaired a jury trial to a defense verdict in New Jersey state court. Janice was previously a high school teacher in New York City and Philadelphia and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Queens College, City University of New York. She earned her law degree from Temple University's Beasley School of Law, where she received a certificate in trial advocacy and litigation, and she is fluent in Spanish.
