About James

James Ludwar founded Ludwar Law after 30 years representing claimants in long-term disability litigation. He was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1996 and the Alberta Bar in 1999, and focuses exclusively on representing individuals whose long-term disability benefits have been denied or terminated. In June 2025, he successfully defeated an insurer's attempt to have a Saskatchewan disability claim struck before a full hearing in Czernewcan v. Blue Cross Life Insurance Company of Canada. He was recognized as a 2025 Lexpert Ranked Lawyer for his work in disability litigation.
