Jim Argionis is a business trial lawyer with a broad commercial litigation practice, handling high-profile disputes, legal counseling, investigations, and compliance matters for clients ranging from sole proprietors to large corporations and institutions. His work spans contract disputes, business torts, shareholder disputes, director and officer liability, employment matters, fraud, defamation, privacy and cybersecurity issues, and real estate disputes including leases and purchase agreements. He has considerable experience defending Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act class actions across manufacturing, software, health care, staffing and technology sectors, and also leads strategy in related mass arbitration actions. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and before several federal district courts, including the trial bar of the Northern District of Illinois.
