About James

James Wickett is the founding lawyer of the Law Offices of James Wickett Professional Corporation, based in Chatham, Ontario. His practice covers business transactions and disputes, municipal and planning matters, real estate, and estate planning and administration, serving clients in both the public and private sectors. He served as solicitor for the County of Kent for 14 years and has also acted for a number of other municipalities. From 1985 to 1990 he served as a Federal Prosecutor for the Federal Department of Justice. He holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario (1971) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor (1974), and has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Kent Law Association since 1976.
