About Jade

Jade Renaud is a lawyer at Droit Ouimet-McPherson Law, where she practises business law, estate planning, and estates. She was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, and holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa's English Common Law Program and a B.A. (Hons) double major in psychology and criminology from the University of Windsor. She articled at a firm in Windsor before returning to Ottawa, where she practised alongside Marc Ouimet-McPherson before moving to a large firm in 2019 to further develop her business law practice. She rejoined Droit Ouimet-McPherson Law in the spring of 2022 and now handles business formations, reorganizations, acquisitions, shareholder and partnership agreements, commercial contracts, franchising, and not-for-profit and cannabis law, along with wills and powers of attorney. She was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2017 and manages the firm's legal blog.
