About Marc

Marc Ouimet-McPherson is the owner and founding lawyer of Droit Ouimet-McPherson Law. Born and raised in Ottawa, he holds an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa's French common law program and practises fluently in both English and French. He worked with the Federal Government and the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic during his studies, articled at a national firm, and practised in Orleans and Rockland before returning to Ottawa in 2017. He founded the firm in 2020, focusing on residential and commercial real estate, business law, estates, and estate planning, including emerging areas such as virtual assets and cryptocurrency. He was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2009, teaches at Cite Collegiale, and gives Pre-Retirement Estate Planning presentations to the Federal Public Service, the RCMP, and the Canadian Armed Forces. He has appeared before the Ontario Small Claims Court and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has guided clients through mediation and arbitration.
