About Kathleen

Kathleen Jin earned her law degree from the University of Windsor in 2008. Before starting her own practice, she worked in the finance department of a multinational company's Chinese division, served as a project officer for a not-for-profit international organization, and ran a consulting business with her husband. She articled at a prominent Ottawa business law firm, gaining experience in civil litigation, contract review, and client advising. Since being called to the bar in 2009, she has practiced across a broad range of areas, including civil litigation, wills and estates, real estate, business law, immigration, and family law, serving clients across the Ottawa area and Ontario. She volunteers with the International Student Friendship Program at the University of Ottawa, drawing on her own experience as an immigrant to Canada.
