About Ila
Ila joined Kasi Law after being called to the Ontario Bar in 2017, having moved to London from the GTA. Ila graduated summa cum laude with an Honours BA in Philosophy and English Literature from York University in 2013, then earned a law degree from the University of Toronto in 2016 and articled with a large national firm. Ila's practice involves acting for insurers in matters including motor vehicle accidents, occupier's liability claims, professional liability, and coverage issues, and has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Small Claims Court. Before joining Kasi Law, Ila represented corporate clients in commercial litigation matters including shareholder and partnership disputes, class action defence, property disputes, and labour and employment law.
