About Igor
Igor Kasic completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2015 and graduated from Thompson Rivers University's Juris Doctor program in 2020. He completed his articles with McPike Johnston, Barristers & Solicitors, in Edmonton in 2021, gaining experience in personal injury, wills and estates, civil litigation, family law, and criminal law, and joined the Alberta bar the same year. His current practice is focused solely on criminal law, including offences under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Animal Protection Act, and the Traffic Safety Act, and he has handled matters in the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench. He has more than five years of experience volunteering with the Elizabeth Fry Society at the Edmonton Law Courts, assisting duty counsel lawyers.
