Greg McMullen is special counsel at Segev LLP, combining legal and technical expertise in his practice. He began his career in plaintiff-side class action litigation covering privacy and competition law before shifting his focus to technology law, with a specialization in blockchain matters, including decentralized ledger technologies, DAOs, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and virtual worlds. He first worked in the blockchain space as in-house counsel at a start-up in 2015 and has stayed active in the field since then. His current practice covers privacy, intellectual property, corporate law, and security matters, along with civil litigation. His academic credentials include a JD earned at the University of British Columbia in 2009, a master's degree from the University of Calgary completed in 2006, and an undergraduate degree from the University of New Brunswick from 2003, and he was called to the bar in 2010.
