About Grace
Grace Murdoch supports clients on a range of litigation matters, including construction, personal injury, healthcare and professional negligence disputes, and has defended institutions across Ontario in large-scale class actions. She was part of teams that successfully resisted certification in proposed class actions against Ontario child welfare agencies over birth alerts, a forensic mental health hospital over seclusion and restraint practices, and long-term care homes facing Covid-19 related claims. Grace has written on topics including jurisdictional challenges, settlement disclosure and the use of SPECT scans in Ontario courts. She also coaches moot teams that have succeeded nationally and volunteers with the Ontario Bar Association's Tort Law Moot. Grace earned her J.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2022 and a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2019, and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2023.
