About Gordon

Gordon Campbell is a lawyer with Campbell Richards Carney, admitted to the Ontario Bar and formerly admitted in British Columbia and Nova Scotia. He focuses on Indigenous and Aboriginal law, including litigation, negotiations, and treaty rights matters. He has appeared multiple times before the Supreme Court of Canada, including in the treaty rights case R. v. Marshall. He served as lead negotiator of Comprehensive and Specific Claims in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Atlantic Canada, and has conducted numerous civil and criminal trials and appeals before federal and provincial courts. Before establishing his own practice, he worked with the Department of Justice Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. He is the author of four law books and practises in both English and French.
