About Gladys

Gladys Omage is a dual-licensed Canadian lawyer, notary public, and author with about twenty years of experience across private practice, government, and the nonprofit sector. She has served in senior policy and advisory roles within the Government of Canada, including at the Canada Border Services Agency, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. She is called to both the Nigerian Bar and the Ontario Bar and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, the International Bar Association, and the International Federation of Women Lawyers. Her practice covers AI, law and technology, immigration, employment, corporate and business law, and diaspora real estate and international affairs matters. She holds a Juris Doctor with a specialization in law and technology from the University of Ottawa and is co-author of a legal text used for judicial training. As founder of GOLEGAL, she has advised individuals, businesses, government agencies, and organizations navigating cross-border legal challenges.
