About Giuseppe

Giuseppe Battista practises criminal, penal, and disciplinary law, and has appeared before Quebec courts and the Supreme Court of Canada. He worked at the Montreal Community Legal Centre from 1986 to 1990 before moving into private practice. He has taught at the Bar school and spoken at numerous conferences, and served as counsel for the Poitras and Oliphant Commissions and as chief prosecutor for the Bastarache inquiry. He holds the honorific Ad. E. (Avocat émérite).
